The price of gold continues to rise which shows the lack of confidence investors have in the dollar. Any serious student of history understands that every paper currency that has ever come into being has been inflated down to worthlessness. At this point, gold and silver become the currency of last resort. Those who hold on to the paper money end up using it to heat their homes or paper the walls, while those holding precious metals prosper.
