Is It Easier to Learn to Day Trade the ES E-Mini or to Peel a Banana?

It is my impression that in recent years a growing number of individuals learning to trade are far less patient for success to come their way and end up trying to take shortcuts, employ odd sounding (and usually little-known) trading systems, or simply give up before they develop a firm and solid trading foundation in trading the ES E-mini contract. I suppose that this is always the case.
