Military Retirement Pensions Explained

Military retirement pensions are a benefit designed who want to make a career out of the armed forces. Only those who stay in the military for twenty years are eligible for such pensions. Persons that served for shorter periods of time are eligible for a variety of other benefits including Veterans’ disability payments and healthcare provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Most honorably discharged veterans should be eligible for at least some VA benefits.
