Roth IRA – What is It?

The Roth IRA was named after the chief legislative sponsor, Senator William Roth. It was established under the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997. The basic concept is if this IRA is to be an individual retirement account that provides benefits to the owner of the account in the form of tax breaks.
